Another confession: I used to be scared to wear a blazer because I felt like an imposter or overdressed (classic Seattle/PNW. Dressing for a casual work environment comes with its own challenges. I work in academia and with a lot of folks in tech sooo that means the majority of us wear t shirts and jeans and sneakers. Not a bad look..but as a team leader I also feel more confident and put together for meetings when I dress up a tiny bit. Professionalism is one of my strengths so working on embracing that a little bit more this year as well as that blazer life 👩🏻💼
