This is going to sound really weird but hear me out! You’re probably doing a lot of online shopping right now. For plus-size folks, this is nothing new because most stores don’t carry our sizes in store anyway. If you’re unsure of an item you’ve ordered online take a picture of yourself! Set a self timer, take a photo or a little video, not just a selfie. It might give you a different perspective. Since starting this page I have taken more photos of myself than…I probably ever have and part of me feels weird and vain and another part of me feels really f-ing awesome and I am learning that clothes look different than they do when I look at them in the mirror 💁🏻♀️ example: I hated the way this sweater looked on me when I first got it. I felt like it swallowed me and looked really big and frumpy but I do not see any of that anymore! I now see a cute cozy sweater on a confident woman that looks perfect for a zoom meeting . I’m so glad I gave it another chance 💕
